New comedy reality shows Comedy For Kindness will begin production this year. The reality show, featuring Boom Jellyfish director Luke Massey, will bring stand-up comedy to regional Australia.

Be Dragons Season 2 is Coming Soon

The second season of Be Dragons is underway, with Boom Jellyfish partnering up with the Australian Production House to co-produce the series. The first season aired on Fox Footy and focused on the inaugural season of the Geelong Dragons, the region’s first disability football side.

Our story

Boom Jellyfish Productions is Geelong’s latest premium production house.

With many credits in the television and corporate arenas, Boom Jellyfish prides itself on being transparent with the client, for the experience to be an enjoyable one and for delivering excellence. Luke Massey

Director

Luke is an accomplished film producer… as well as writer, director, musician and stand-up comic. He set out with close mates Jamie McInnes and Paul Moore at Unscripted Productions to produce three seasons of the Antennae Award-nominated travel adventure show Random Aussies… which has been lauded in many countries all over the world. Luke then produced Be Dragons for Fox Footy and ABC International. The six-part series about the inaugural season of Geelong’s first disability football side was acclaimed both in Australia and internationally. Luke is also one of the directors of Locally Grown Funnies, Australia’s most successful regional comedy club, and is affiliated with charities Jerry’s House and Ur The Cure.

Jake Yeaman

Jake is a filmmaker, with a wealth of experience in television and digital arts. He has a background in cinematography, editing, motion graphics and visual effects. Jake studied film production at SAE institute in Melbourne and graduated in 2007, since then he has worked on various productions that have aired on multiple major networks from extreme sports to the newsroom. Recently Jake has been busy working with businesses on their video marketing strategies to create content for social media, websites and video streaming platforms. He has developed a vast set of skills in digital content creation and is sharing his knowledge with the next generation of aspiring filmmakers teaching at Geelong’s Oxygen College.
